Dr. Michael Bastien, BSc, ND
Dr. Bastien received his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology specializing in rehabilitation and health form Simon Fraser University, and his Naturopathic medical training from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. Starting in 2010 he began teaching at Boucher as an instructor in the physical medicine department.
Since starting practice Dr. Bastien has completed training in prolotherapy, platelet rich plasma, ozone, prolozone, neural therapy, neuroprolotherapy, concussion identification and treatment, hormone replacement therapy (including the Millennium health center with Dr. Mark Gordon), functional dry needling, Myo-matrix release, ultrasonography, Wilson protocol and pharmaceutical certification. His practice focuses on chronic pain and injuries while staying grounded in the core principles of health including digestive support and hormone regulation.
As a father of two young children, Dr. Bastien spends his free time running around the North Shore with the family. When any free time arises you may find him with his camera or experimenting with recipes at home.
